Current’s Steven Blumenfeld speaks with Tom Ohanian

Steven describes Current and explains that the company’s mission is to “democratize television”. He states that although quality is important to Current, it’s not as important as the story and the in-depth reporting that’s involved in getting the story. Steven also describes the challenges of ingesting content from citizen journalists and where Signiant fits in by automating Current’s workflow, taking humans out of the equation and thereby eliminating human error.
